Purchase terms

All prices are quoted in £ Pound sterling or in Euro incl. VAT (12% on food and dietary supplements, 6% on books and 25% on other goods) for countries within the European Union. For orders outside this territory the price is quoted excl. VAT. The price given on at the time of purchase is normally the price that you will pay. We reserve the right to make later corrections to prices or text published in error on our website or other media. We may also adjust prices as a result of changes in exchange rates.

1. Purchase

When a completed order is registered, the customer is assumed to have read and accepted our terms and conditions. We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. Customers themselves are responsible for checking the applicable conditions. You must be aged 18 or over to order from us. Under Swedish law, we cannot accept credit purchases from persons under 18. We reserve the right to refuse or alter a specific order (e.g. where you have entered incorrect personal information and/or have a bad payment history).

2. Cooling-off period

Under the Distance and Doorstep Sales Act, you – the customer – have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving any specific reason (applies only for countries within the European Union). You cannot cancel the order if the goods are not in a fit condition to be returned or if the seal has been broken. If you cancel your order, the goods must be returned in an essentially unchanged state. The cooling-off period starts from the date on which you received the goods or a substantial part of them. If you wish to exercise your right to cancel, you must notify us in writing via e-mail (, quoting your bank-account or postal giro/bank giro number. We will then determine whether you satisfy the conditions for exercising your right to cancel. You will then receive a reply from us via e-mail, with details of how to return the goods where applicable. Note that you must follow our recommendations concerning packaging etc. Note also that you will have to pay the shipping costs. After we have received the returned goods, the purchase price minus original shipping costs will be refunded to you within 30 days of the date on which we received the returned package, provided that you have not used the goods and they are returned undamaged, i.e. with packaging/seals unbroken.

3. Subscription

To get the greatest benefit from Baricol Complete, it is important to give your body a regular dose every day. A subscription to Baricol® Complete will enable you to have vitamins and minerals at home at an attractive price at all times. When you choose this option, you will have the products delivered all at the same time. You will then receive the next delivery of your products after the time interval you selected (1, 3, 6 or 12 months). You can suspend, change (flavours or formulations) or cancel your subscription at any time (i.e. we have no minimum subscription or notice period). The easiest way to change flavours or formulations is to go into ‘My account’ (which requires a login), where you can also suspend your subscription. If you want to cancel your subscription with us, you can call or e-mail our customer service. You will then receive a written confirmation from us (via e-mail) that your subscription has been cancelled. Failure to pay will not be taken as cancellation. Payment for your subscription will be handled via Stripe. The amount will be automatically taken from your card when you order. The same conditions for returns and complaints apply as with normal orders. In the event of late payment, statutory reminder charges and any collection costs will be debited to you. Charges and interest on arrears will be levied either by us or by the creditor administering your debt.

4. Payment

We offer a secure card payment facility with VISA and MasterCard in partnership with Stripe. No card information is processed or stored by Baricol Bariatrics AB. The money will be taken directly from your account when you approve the transaction. Stripe supports most well-known card providers, including Visa, Mastercard and American Express. 5. Deliveries

We will send your goods by major couriers such as DHL or UPS.

Parcel orders received before 12.00 pm on working days will normally be dispatched the same day. Delivery time is normally 4-7 working days but varies due to the destination. A text or e-mail notification will be sent to you from the designated courier. In exceptional cases, dispatch may be confirmed by post. You are responsible for supplying the correct mobile number.

6. Uncollected packages

If you choose not to collect your order, it will be returned to Baricol Bariatrics AB. You must then pay any costs that arise. If you do not collect your order and it is returned to Baricol Bariatrics AB, you will be charged carriage, return, handling and packaging costs. The current charge is £25. If you want a package that has been returned to Baricol Bariatrics AB to be re-sent, you will be charged additional carriage costs . Contact our customer service team to have the goods re-sent.

7. Damage to the shipment

If you find that the package is damaged, you should report this immediately to the post office or other forwarder and file a damage report. You should not collect a damaged parcel. If you do not discover the damage until you have opened the package, and the damage is such that it may be attributed to handling by DHL or the forwarding company, you should contact them and file a damage report. If any dispute with DHL or the forwarding company cannot be resolved, you should contact us.

8. Returns

Returns will be handled at the customer’s expense unless the goods are defective or we have sent the wrong items. Returns should be sent by letter or parcel post, not COD. For replacements, Baricol Bariatrics AB will pay for carriage of the new shipment.

9. Orders from abroad

For international orders we only accept card payment only. Deliveries outside the EU may be subject to charges and duties which will be payable by the customer as and when they arise. The customer should be aware of the import rules for the country the goods are to be sent to. No compensation will be paid in case of seizure by customs or other authorities.

10. Product liability

Dietary supplements are not sold in order to have any medicinal effect or to treat injuries or illnesses, or to replace drugs or a normal healthy diet . If you are unsure consult a doctor before use.

11. Customer communication

We will process the personal data that you provided to us or that we have provided to us or which we have collected on our website using cookies. The personal details that we process are your name, e-mail address, purchasing, payment and order history, delivery address, IP address and telephone number. The personal data that we process will be safeguarded by security procedures and organisational measures, and access to the website will be via an encrypted connection using SSL. We have firewalls and anti-virus programs to protect and prevent unauthorised access to our network. The customer consents to Baricol Bariatrics AB communicating via post, telephone, e-mail and text to provide details of our product offerings. If you do not wish to receive offers from us during your subscription period or after it has ended, you can opt out by contacting customer service.
